Tale
of the Tapes
-
KABA Tape was awarded
U.S. patent no. 7,249,436
-
KABA Tape makes
corners without need for special connectors or
cutting
-
So flexible is rolls
over objects like they weren’t there
-
Clarity that will last
and won’t yellow
-
Two flat aluminum
wires bonded 5/8” apart to an ultra-thin carrier
that prevents the electricity from leaking to metal
surfaces.
-
The aluminum has high
corrosion resistance, conductivity and formability.
KABA Clear is a peel & stick tape.
The red PVC liner is removed to expose the 3M’s 4910
pressure sensitive adhesive base. Installs fast
and holds tight. Bonds aggressively to
painted, bare metal, glass, asphalt shingles, terra
cotta and unified surfaces that are clean, stable, dry
and above 45 degrees. An exact color and pattern
match on each surface it’s applied to. Composed of
UV stable acrylic films and adhesives. Comes standard
with a satin finish top; gloss finish is available for
glass by request. Easy to handle 50 foot rolls are 8”
O.D. x 1 ¾”W and weigh 2 pounds.
Hook
the KABA Tapes together with:
Jumper wire is pure aluminum and just the
right size to work well in the KABA connection system.
All KABA system components are aluminum, just like every
electric service line outside our homes. Constructed
with a thick PVC insulation jacket rated to 20,000
volts, 20 gauge, solid strand, in a twisted pair
arrangement. Takes plastic spray paints. Reels
contain 100 feet .

Sleeves are pure aluminum.
One connector for ALL connections and easily crimped in
place. Precisely sized to accept the flat wires on the
KABA Tapes and jumper wires. To insure long lasting
connections and installers convenience, sleeves are
pre-loaded with an anti-oxidant paste. The paste stains
clothes permanently so we provide a wipe rag with each
50 count vial.
System Power Provided by:

Safe DC
pulses are emitted every second. Plug into a
110 volt AC receptacle. Energizes distances
up to 1500 feet. Meets all UL safety
standards for power output levels and fire
risk. A long “off-time” between brief DC
pulses insures heat cannot increase and
ignite combustible materials. NEVER install
a KABA System where sparks are not wanted.
Can be installed on a switched receptacle
intended to shut down the KABA system for
maintenance activities. Dimensions are 6”W x
9”H x 4”D. Operates on about 4 watts. |
|
Solar power is
convenient. Generates DC pulse output just
like the 110 volt AC plug-in models. On-off
switch underneath. 2 year battery included
and can hold a charge for 2 weeks without
sun. Good for lengths up to 2000 feet.
Weighs about 10 pounds, dimensions 12”W x
12”H x 12”D |

Proper
crimping is essential for solid electrical
connections in the KABA system. The
up-front crimp jaw design is a must for
sound, quick sleeve crimps. Strips wire
and cuts too. One tool does it all.

Caddy for
spooling or holding KABA Tape rolls. Easy
loading. Hang on belts or hold in your hand
for spooling. |

Loops will
hold jumper wires in place for a strong
mechanical connection. Two pairs of jumper
wires can fit inside one of these ¼” nylon
loops. Features a 3/16” I.D. hole for
securing the loop to wood, metal , stone,
etc.. 50 count |

Plastic,
high visibility signs. 10 per package.
Dimensions 3”H x 8”Wq |

Digital
tester is a special purpose tool. DVM’s
(digital volt meters) CANNOT measure the DC
pulses output by the power controllers…the
pulses are too fast! Displays voltages up
to 9,999 volts, battery included. |
